Someone is Praying for You

Sometimes we’re so alone in our daily life or trials that we think  no one cares, no one is aware of our needs, and certainly, no one is taking time to pray for our deepest every need.

But in a few short verses, we learn differently.  We learn that we’re thought of, cared, and prayed for more than we realize or imagine.

Romans 8:26   “And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we don’t know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”

:27  “and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”

:34  “…Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.”

Hebrews 7:24  “He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

If you feel all alone, you’re not.  God is praying…..for you.

  2. Encouraging words mom! I was just thinking about this, this am, when I was doing my “prayer on the way to work routine(445am)” I didn’t sleep much, and don’t drink caffeine anymore–so my prayer was turning into random, fleeting thoughts. I decided to speak out loud, my prayers still ran into each other like chalk on a rained-out sidewalk… Then I said, God, you know my heart and my thoughts, please help me form them, I do not want to come before the King with a messy prayer–And God responded, this AM as I read your post–“I intercede for you, I know your thoughts.” 🙂

  3. Joy, I’m so glad the Lord spoke comfort to you this morning! There’s so many times I don’t know how to pray..or what. But the Lord makes sense of all our scattered thoughts, anxieties, worries, tears, and cares! He hears beyond the words, and sees our need. He hears, prays and answers! Just as you pray for your little baby who doesn’t even know what’s going on yet, so our Lord prays for you…and her 🙂 wow!

    Love you! Mom

  4. Just what I needed to read just now. Thank you so much. I think most of us forget that Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf to the Father. What a wonderful and encouraging thought.

    Thanks for this reminder.
