  1. One of the great classics; it was made when people in Hollywood really wanted to make a difference in a positive way. Now, it just needs to be colorized, and that would be grand. I love the story of hope and victory in George’s life, and how people pulled together. Great stuff.

  2. Your points are so true! I once wrote an college essay about the values, hope and faith represented in “It’s a Wonderful Life” that just aren’t found in (m)any movies today.

    My husband and I are ‘on the road’ again, so my responses and posts may be a bit delayed. We celebrate Christmas with our entire family in January, so for the calendar Christmas, we join friends in Ottawa to celebrate! Lots of snow—are we crazy?!
